So I haven’t worked the past 2 days plus today. I don’t know why, I could use as much training as possible. I’m also scheduled for like 10 hours this week. Seriously? Is it because they think I don’t like money? Because that’s definitely not the case. Well, not so much than the money, but the shiny things I can exchange for it. Though to be fair, I think we only have 80 weddings to do this week anyway.

So for the past two days I’ve been running errands and screwing around I guess. I FINALLY cleaned the rice cooker. This sounds disgusting but it’s been sitting around for a month. Okay, yeah, that’s gross. I’ve also decided to give up drinking for a bit. Liquor is so nonessential for how much I’d probably spend on it a month and beer leads to beer guts. That is not something I want. Also, I need to stop buying all this novelty Japanese beverages. Like there’s this one where you have to dislodge a glass marble just to drink it. It tastes like ass, but god the bottle is neat. It says right on the label not to try and get out the marble, but ffff, I just wanna smash this thing open for it lmao.

Also, wouldn’t you know it, my old buddy James dropped an album! AND IT SOUNDS GOOD. Me and this dude go way back but we lost touch YEARS ago. He was one of my inspirations for like, EVERYTHING. I’d dare even say literally. Man, when we were young he was big on Web Design and Digital Art. I think he was the one to even get me into it. He was making Web 2.0 look bitch-made when the internet was still looking like half-assed Geoshitty page-builder refuse. He later moved over to making music as his main focus and we just stopped talking. That was when we were like 15 lmao.

But fuck all that, he put out some tracks and they are solid. I occasionally listen to Keith and the Girl and sometimes they’ll have on a guest and they’ll dick ride them so hard just because they’re friends or don’t want to be mean. Like they’ll have F Mos on they’ll act like they love his music (it is good though, and F Mos sounds like a really nice guy), but they just seem so insincere because like on the next show they’ll go off on some rap music and chastise qualities that F Mos’s music has. But here’s the deal, Jdown’s music is seriously good and I wanna say I’m not just saying that because he was my boy back in the day, so download that ish if you get around to it.

Anyway, about work again, apparently we have a company dinner this Wednesday. Also it would seem that I’m obligated to make a 5 minute speech. Seriously? Like, for real? On one hand that terrifies me, on the other hand- I HAS REAL JOB WITH SPEECHES AND COMPANY DINNERS OMG IZ ADULT NOW!!!!11 I just wish I knew what the speech was supposed to be about. I’ve got a day or two, I’ll cook something. Anyway, I’mma sleep now since I’ve gotta be at work tomorrow morning at 8.
