Well, last night I took care of my bug problem. Or rather, I think I did. I won’t know for sure until tonight. I mean, it better be taken care of, I had to sleep on the couch last night. I threw one of those fumigation smoke bomb things in the room and let her rip. I came in this morning and there were dead black flies all over the floor, but I’m not quite sure how new their corpses were.
I do regret not evacuating the two spiders that I knew of in the corner of my room by my desk though. I know it seems weird, but I have a little creepy crawly double standard going. I pretty much make exceptions for arachnids on my list of bugs to unleash malevolence upon. These two were great though. I remember discovering them in the middle of a kung fu fight with some house flies. I pretty much clocked two of them at once with an empty bottle of tea and they went flying into the spiders’ web. Immediately the spiders descended upon the injured flies to finish my handiwork and I declared them as my allies.
Well, I guess that’s over. This morning when I came into the room I found them curled up under their web. Sorry guys. I genuinely felt bad, but I hope they’re better off now in the great spiderweb in the sky .
This morning I did get my Driver’s license for Guam which turned out to be an altogether unpleasant experience. The old, bald guy who handled my initial paper work was a certified asshole and was giving me grief every step of the way. He was easily the rudest person I’ve ever had to deal with in person before. Is it because I’m an American that he disrespected me so much? I honestly don’t see how he can be that much of a douche bag to everyone and still have all his teeth. Honestly, if I didn’t realize that starting shit with him would make the whole process longer, I would have chewed his old ass out for such an attitude. My dad’s been on people’s asses for less, seriously.
Just recalling the experience is spoiling my mood so I guess I’ll drop it. I’ve been watching the movie W. recently and oh man do I love it. It’s supposed to be biographical, but it’s just too unbelievable for me to buy that. It’s really funny how they make Dubya out to be so many different kinds of characters. Sometimes he’s relentlessly charming and other times he’s just pitiful. The best part is that he always gets those stupid little Bushims sprinkled in where he kills the mood with retarded one liners. I honestly feel the movie’s comedy more than anything else and in that sense it blows horribly. But I love it so much. The guy playing Dick Cheney is really doing a bang up job of making him out to be this absolutely evil puppet master and it just can’t stop amusing me.
I think I’m gonna restart Green Leaves and Brown Flowers pretty soon. Inspiration and all that.
